Leadership, advocacy and support

The work of the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare Tas/Vic enhances the wellbeing and rights of at-risk children and families in Victoria and Tasmania.

We provide leadership, advocacy, and support to organisations and professionals in the sector, fostering collaboration, innovation, and evidence-informed practices to create positive and lasting impacts.

Collaborations and partnerships

Our collaborative partnerships are essential in raising the visibility of the  needs of families and children in crisis. We share skills, knowledge and evidence with organisations and create networks to support each other and deliver on our shared vision.

Research and submissions

The Centre is always busy ensuring the voices of children, young people and their families are represented at all levels of government. Our research is rooted in evidence-based methodologies, guiding us in influencing government policies, championing the work of the child and family services sector, and advocating for meaningful change to uplift those in greatest need.

Network Forums

The Centre’s Network Forums offer members a platform to raise, discuss, and advance strategic, long-term issues crucial for building a sustainable child and family services sector. Our Network Forums cover a range of topics, tailored to different professionals within and across the sector, focusing on specialised areas of expertise to drive meaningful progress.
