Connections Conference – Call for abstracts

Connections UnitingCare is calling for abstracts for their inaugural conference: Leading Practice – Making a difference in the lives of children and families to be held in May 2014.

• Do you or your organisation have experience and leading practice examples of trauma-informed practice?
• Have you or your organisation been successful in using evidence-based practice to develop a new and innovative program that is leading the way for children and families?
• Has your organisation worked successfully in partnership with another organisation to provide leading outcomes for those presenting with challenging and complex needs?
• Is your organisation leading the way in how it collects, responds and reports on quality, feedback and evaluation? How is your organisation using this data to make a difference in the lives of children and families?

Connections are now seeking abstract submissions for either oral presentations or workshop presentations.

This conference will showcase and discuss new ideas, promote innovation and bring together a wide variety of government and departmental representatives and community sector partners. It will encourage participation and will address areas of work that illustrate leading the way as well as highlighting quality systems, feedback and evaluation.

Featuring keynote speakers from around the world, the conference will cover topics including; trauma-informed practice; evidence-based practice; cross sectoral work and partnerships; and quality systems, feedback and evaluations.
